5/12-5/30  Just a reminder that The Canton Student Loan Foundation’s deadline for applications is June 1, 2008.  Students may still request a loan application by calling our office (330-493-0020) or by requesting/downloading an application through our website at www.cantonstudentloan.org.   Please remember that The Canton Student Loan Foundation has received a generous grant from the Sisters of Charity Foundation to provide loans for students whose annual family income is $35,000 or less.

 

5/20-5/30  Attention Class of 2009:  You can now order your senior jerseys.  Next year's jerseys will be white with black lettering and a red bulldog.  They will cost $32.00 and can have an appropriate name listed on the back.  You can pick up an order form in the media center or from Mrs. Nickels.  Order by the end of this school year and you will have your jersey for the first football game in the fall!

 

5/20-5/30  Students taking AP biology next year can stop by Mr. Lowry’s room 270 to pick up their summer reading assignment.

 

5/23-5/29  The Girls Track banquet will be held on Thursday, May 29th.  The girls are to meet at the track by 4:00 p.m. to depart via bus to the restaurant.

 

5/27-29  Attention all NEWLY inducted members of NHS and current officers:  There will be a MANDATORY meeting this Friday, May 30th at 7:00 a.m. in room 201.  If you are unable to attend, you must see Mrs. Bissmeyer before the 30th for her to excuse your absence.  We will be discussing the by-laws and the election of officers for next school year.

 

5/28  All Softball uniforms and McKinley softball equipment must be turned in on Friday, May 30 in the field house at 3:30.  This is for everyone that was on the JV and Varsity teams.  There will be holds put on any girl that fails to turn in these things.

 

5/28-6/2  There will be a mandatory meeting for next year’s McKinley Singers on Monday June 2 from 3-4 p.m. in the choir room.
